Personnel are issued with an access card.
Access cards are quickly and easily printed on site using an ID card printer that Sitetime supply. To print a card, the user securely log’s into the Sitetime website, enters the person’s details and click’s the ‘print card’ button. Each card is unique and provides photographic identification for each individual going on site. Access cards are generally issued to personnel after their induction and can be set to be valid for a specified time period according to site requirements.

Personnel use their card to scan in and out of site.
Each person’s card is read by a handheld scanner used by the site gateman or security guard. The scanner records each movement in and out of site and keeps an accurate roll call of exactly who is on site at any moment. If a person is denied access for any reason, the guard will be alerted when the card is scanned and the person can be directed to the site office. In the event of an emergency evacuation, the gateman takes the handheld to the assembly point where a roll call can be easily taken.

Reports are available on the Sitetime website.
The information recorded by the scanner at the site entry is regularly sent back to the Sitetime website using Vodafone GPRS technology. Information can be securely accessed from anywhere and reports can be viewed showing who has been on site and for what period of time. Total labour hours can be calculated by individual, company and site allowing managers to drill down and more accurately measure labour costs across a site or project.
